Mozilla Firefox desktop:

- To the left of the web address, click the Lock icon
- Click the arrow in the "Site Information" drop-down panel
- Click "More Information" in the next panel to bring up the Page info window
- Click the "Permissions" tab in the Page info window
- Under "Send Notifications," choose a notification option: , , or . If your choices are grayed out, deselect the "Use Default" checkbox

Apple Safari desktop:
- With Safari open, click on "Safari" located at the top of your screen
- Click on "Preferences" in the menu
- Select "Websites" from the Preferences menu
- Click on "Notifications" on the left panel
- Look for CNET (or www.cnet.com) in the list of websites that appears
- Select CNET and click "Remove"
